How to optimise funds for yield (USD)

Last updated: October 7, 2025

Part 1: Deposit USD into Primary

In order to get started, please ensure you have deposited USD into your Primary account by clicking deposit funds.

Change the deposit account to your USD account and make a deposit using the reference details.

Part 2: Transfer funds into USD yield

Once the funds have landed, navigate to the Accounts tab in the left hand pane. Click "Move funds".

Ensure your USD account is selected as the 'Transfer from' account and your BlackRock USD Yield account as the 'Transfer to' account.

You have two fund options, which are very similar in nature but have slightly different fund holdings:

  • The BlackRock US Treasury Fund invests in a broad range of fixed income securities (such as bonds) and money market instruments (MMIs) (i.e. debt securities with short term maturities) and in cash.

  • The BlackRock US Liquidity Fund invests in a broad range of High Credit Quality fixed income securities (such as bonds) and money market instruments (MMIs) (i.e. debt securities with short term maturities). It may also invest in deposits with credit institutions (e.g. banks).

For slightly higher yield, the Liquidity Fund is recommended.
